Ouch!A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.

Norwegian forest cats are the best cats in the worldI have two of the beautiful little (well, massive for cats) creatures. They're not meant to go outside though. They're a bit like dogs and have a habit of running AT cars. I'm not surprised the poor little sod got hit. I'm glad he's feeling well enough to jump these days though :)

My friend did note that he has a habit of sitting right in the middle of things and expecting people to go around him because he's just too magnificent to care, even when he's in imminent danger. There's a good chance that he expected the car to go around him.
He's been an indoor cat since then, but is agile enough that he has attempted escape by jumping over an 8-foot fence.
