I was born in London
I don't live there now (only did until I was 1 year old) and I hate that this country is so London-centric. If something happens in London, it will get at least 10 times the amount of media coverage than if it happened in say Manchester or Liverpool. And they get their own Mayor, the election of which completely overshadowed the elections that the REST OF THE COUNTRY WAS HAVING AS WELL YOU TWATS.

And from TV programmes I probably know the layout of London like the back of my hand. But if someone showed me a picture of a famous Birmingham landmark, I wouldn't recognise it at all. In fact I don't know any. I think I've perhaps seen two pictures of Birmingham in my life and that was from googling them.

And if there's any event going on, it will be in London. I mean, it really does feel in this country sometimes as if the whole area of the country outside of the M25 just doesn't exist.
