Racist grandparents
It Came From Planet Aylia says: "My husband's mad Auntie Joan accused the man seven doors down of stealing her milk as he was the first black neighbour she had. She doesn't even get her milk delivered." Tell us about casual racism from oldies.
Thanks to Brayn Dedd who suggested this too

Very Close
story of a flat mate of mine.
His dad, Polish, was caught passing pamphlets hidden in a football. 13 he was. Off to the camps. 1940. Buchenwald and Auschwitz I think - I could look them up. After his death, part of his story was posted on the BBC.
He made it through the war and ended up at RAF Boulmer on the North-East Coast where he met his wife - my mates mum.
He didn't become rich or famous. But he always kept a stone from one of the camps which he told his grandson came from a very bad place...
There's a lot more to tell about this guy but, it's not my story, and certainly, not my place.
RIP
