Rubbish Towns
I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.
Thanks to SpankyHanky for the suggestion

Yeah, no real problems, but it was more intimidating at night
when they had had all day to get wasted.
The one bit of advice I got was "Whatever you do, DONT walk down Everleigh Road". I didnt, but I would always have a good look. It reminded me of "The Wire".

Yeah, I guess it's the same as most places
"Don't walk down that dodgy back street with the firebin with a tonne of pissed idiots standing around it asking for change"
Not saying people deserve to get mugged or anything like that (hell I used to always walk to the station to collect my partner as she is a 45 kilo chick who runs screaming from flies) but you just need to keep your eyes open and you should be fine.
