Ta for confirming my sometimes flaky memory. As to your beans posit I wonder though if you wrapped a Heinz label around some bargain beans whether the same would be true...after all the psychological trick is the same.

As a school dinner lady, my nan did this.All the kids complained about the crappy beans they were dishing up, so she brought in one can of Heinz and left it on the counter. Bingo, lots of happy children, munching down on cheap beans.
Conclusion? Kids are thick.
