Thisis far closer to my experience towards men and women who have been around a lot. None of the girls I know get shit for it. Come to think of it, neither do the men much.
I haven't come across the differing attitudes to cheating as much. I find the double standard is a fairly gender neutral "It's OK if I cheat, not if they do". This is why I generally consider polyamorous people to be the same as everyone else but more honest.
