I always argue that...Women are paid on average less for similar work because past a certain level in business you've gotta hype yourself up and demand certain salary levels, blokes are better at doing that.
Whether that's because women actually find it hard to value themselves to a business that highly, are less greedy by nature, or simply fear for their job if they ask for a ridiculous salary, who knows?!
