Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

That reminds me of a story. My ex and his mate were walking down the street and his mate said "watch this" and went up to a middle aged couple laden with shopping bags. After some preamble he shouted "GERONIMO!" at them and ran back giggling as they picked up their dropped shopping. "Wtf?" said my ex. The answer: "I said I was from the Salvation Army and asked if they'd like a War Cry"...
