Strict ParentsI always thought my parents were quite strict, but I can't think of anything they actually banned me from doing, whereas a good friend was under no circumstances allowed to watch ITV because of the adverts.
This week's Time Out mentions some poor sod who was banned from sitting in the aisle seats at cinemas because, according to their mother, "drug dealers patrol the aisles, injecting people in the arm."
What were you banned from doing as a kid by loopy parents?

Pronounswhen talking about our parents we were forbidden to use subjective pronouns. Always say mum or dad, never she or he.
T'was thought disrespectful or something and would land us a quick slap in the face.
To this day I wonder what would have happened had they not been so quick in punishing the use of these dirty pronouns. Hell, I think I'll spend the next two days talking to them using only pronouns and bring about the end of the world.
