SalouI went in 1999 with a then g/f. It was pretty decent by that time, the beaches clean and the facilities presentable.
However, on day three the town was hit by torrential rain, resulting in overflowing drains that drained, well, downward...
On day four, I went for a swim and spent the evening and most of the next day shouting at Ralph.
