Bob and Susan always lived hand to mouth
they never had any spare cash because they were always buying stuff on the never-never and the three school age kids didn't help.
So Sue used to sit out in the car park on pay day waiting for Bob's cheque to arrive about 2pm. One day the pay cheques didn't arrive. They were there the next morning so nothing much was said.
That happened the following pay day and on the one after that they were two days late. On the second day about noon Sue had had enough. she stamped into building, straight past the folk out the front desk and gave the manager her view of the topic, You could hear her at the far end of the building. The pays were never late again.
