cycling doesn't erode my standard of living
or leisure time. It's often faster cycling through town than driving through it, and it keeps me fit and I can give smug looks at the goons stuck in a traffic jam as glide past :D

Yes, but it depends on each person
Whether it affects you depends on your own situation. For some people it will be a positive advantage, whilst for others it will be a severe issue in their life..
