» Have you ever been rude to a celebrity?
Jamie Theakston
At Glastonbury about, ooh maybe 4 years ago I was stood at the very front of the main stage on the barrier (can't remember who it was for) I looked up at the platform bit on the side of the stage where the celebrities/people with backstage passes stand and spied Jamie Theakston, I waved at him enthusiastically and shouted "Jamie" a few times and he eventually spied me in the crowd, smiled and waved back, sure that I had got his attention I shouted "Wanker" and made the appropriate wanking gesture. He backed away slowly into the crowd of back stagers and I didn't see him again (until I turned on Channel 4 the other day only to find that he's back)

» Scars with history
Foolish Manoeuvre
I've got a nice little scar above my eye, it was from when I was about 6 or 7 I think, basically I was playing outside the front of my house when my mum called out the door that dinner was ready, I obviously got quite exited at this and decided to close my eyes and run as fast as I could in the general direction of the door. I ran straight into the corner of the house. and went down. hard. Apparently I was more upset about missing my dinner (because I had to go to casualty) than I was about a nasty bleeding wound on my face.
Oh and I have a matching scar above the other eye but can't remember what from, my mum says that when I used to fall over as a child I never put my arms out to break the fall, I'd just fall on my face, so it's probably from that.

» Stuff You've Overheard
On the DLR going through Canary Wharf station
I overhear 2 American tourists talking:
Female: "Ooh look Canary Wharf!" (pointing at station sign)
Male: "Yeah"
Female: "So what is Canary Wharf?"
Male: "I'm not really sure"
Female: "Is it like, a harbour?, or some kind of water thing?"
Male: "Yeah that's it"

Back in't day...
when I lived near a very chav-tastic town me and my friends would frequent an extremely dodgy nightclub (simply because we could get in). Inevitably we would get absolutely plastered, and on one such occasion the DJ announced a special guest appearing on stage, it was Clock, the male/female dance duo from the mid-nineties. They performed some of their material and as they left the stage they were led past our tables by two large security guards. Something (well, beer)possessed me to comment on their performance so as the male half of Clock walked past me I pointed at him and said in a very high pitched sarcastic voice "You're good then!" (or was it 'your good then'?) he didn't take kindly to this and while attempting to attack me in some horribly violent way he was rapidly pushed away by the female clock and the two guards.
Surprisingly I didn't get thrown out and was able to enjoy the rest of my evening.
Funnily enough on another occasion at a completely different nightclub they appeared again, much to the amusment of my friends who wanted me to do the same, sadly the opportunity did not arise. Later in the evening my mate had 2 pints thrown over him at the same time by 2 of his ex girlfriends, one of which had persuaded the other that he was evil.
