Citrus Virus
One time at the call centre I worked at, it was my buddies last day. We work for an Internet Service Provider, troubleshooting with Cx to get their DSL back up. On his last day when ever he had a customer call in that could route but had e-mail issues, he told them they had "The Citrus Virus" and should immediately go to LemonParty.ORG .. Hilarity ensued

Work Experience
I went to college for Hospitality and got the degrees in the feild. I was an eager pup and was eventually hired in for a "Front desk Manager" position at a local hotel, one that I had never heard of. It wasn't too long until I started to see our cities fine assortment of crackheads and wierdo coming in and out.
At one point a Transvestite of the larger variety checked in, and would recieve more visitors that I could have ever guessed. I discovered where the 'johns' were going when a deaf mute came in with a Teletext print out of a conversation with "Lola" (i can't make this up. ... )
but the most bizarre thing I ever saw was when She came down out of her room to help one of her clients in.. it was a quadrapoligic midgit in an electric padded wheelchair. I just shook my head. ... but I guess quadrapoligic midgits need loving too. (he stayed two hours rather than the customary one)

Some People
I work in a call centre and I looove having a bit of fun. Some people take a long time to complain about how long it takes to talk to a human. Once they get to me they just choose to yell me. Sometimes I just hang up, and say.. "oops.. try again" Sometimes they want to file an official complaint about the IVR [interactive voice recognition] (The Voice Prompt System) and the customer wants me to tell the person in charge of the IVR to fix it. Personally, I have no idea who is in charge of it. I usually just tell them that
"I would love to call and tell them to fix the Call-In system, but I always get misdirected and it takes forever to get through to them. how else can I help?"

damned if you do..
My brother and I had our share of toss ups from chasing eachother with knifes as children to putting eachother in the hospital as adults.
Its cool now between us but I remember when you used to pin me down on the ground punch me. when I screamed for help he would spit in my mouth.. then when I pierced my mouth shut he would punch my over. it was a wicked cycle that let me learn to take a punch.

Steal-a-cup
I used to work front desk at a hotel that catered to business types from out of town. At the beginning of my shift there was nothing more I would like than a nice fresh cup of coffee. The lobby brewer was a "steal-a-cup" style that would allow guests to do just that as it brewed. The problem was this would kill the mix and they would take the first half while it was Strong and leave me with the last bit that less Strong. I must admit I have OCD and it probably didn't help with me wanting to let the Coffee brew all the way but one lady guest always stole a cup when she strolled in from work. Regardless if I asked her to wait. If I waited to brew a pot until after she came home, she would just ask for i right away. I pissed me off, mostly because she was also very annoying. (calling me up to test her light switches and such.)/. One day I brewed a rough brew full of Salt Water, she came in and "stole-a-cup" and got the most taste on her mouth... she just shot me a dirty look and never Stole-a-cup' again. I quickly and quietly made a new pot and it was never an issue again.
