IDJ2 with carry case [Turntables with an iPod dock in the middle. Entry level and the software sometimes reads the BPM wrong] - Plays static through the speakers. Sent it off to get repaired. Was 'in the shop' for 6 months. Was told '8 weeks max'. Here is an email I sent them after much to and fro-ing while it was in the shop:

Store guy's name,
I'm trying so hard to be nice. You and other dude sound like good guys. And busy. So if theres a delay in regards to me getting my IDJ2 back, tell me the real reason.
The REAL reason.
I don't care if its lost, I don't care if its broken, I don't care if some drunk guy mistook it as a toilet and took a massive dump on it.
I deal with customers all day myself. You probably dread it whenever someone calls back asking for an update and you cringe because either 1) you don't have an update or 2) you got some terrible news that they won't like. So you spin some shit.
Stop spinning shit.

I'm a nice guy.

Got it back without paying a cent.
Whole unit cost $600 down from $1200 [off a manager I worked for who is still awesomely supportive, even though that was two jobs ago.]

» What was I thinking?
Took a boatload of meow
At a trance night. First time i'd ever done it. Was up until 10 the next night. 3 days later I was that messed up I believed it when I thought I didn't love my girlfriend. Told her exactly this.
We'ed been going out for 4 years, and living together for about 6 months. I totally and utterly crushed her.
What was I thinking taking that shit...never been near the stuff since. My head wasn't right for another 2 months.
Just because it has cat in the name it shouldn't remind you of 'meow meow, I'm cute a kitten' but 'I'm a lion and I'm gonna FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUCK you up!'. Ga!

Toe hurties
Kicked a football across the road at my cousin's. Ran across...was halfway over when a car came flying up the hill [I was at the top of a very steep crest]
It ran over my big toe, doing about 60km/h.

Do that thing that is usually done by kidlets before entering university
No this isn't a story involving my wang being named kidlet and the girl being named university...
My parents did it - dad for 4 years, mum for 2 - and they drilled it into my brain that it is the best thing I could ever do. But now, being 24, I have only just gotten around to it. This was mostly to the fact that 1. I moved out of home when I was 20 as my parents weren't going to have a house pretty soon and were going to live with grandma and 2. I wanted to cement my career as something to build upon when I come back
So now the time has finally come. I'm ending a 4.5 year relationship. I'm ending a life of certainty. I'm saying farewell to all of my friends because now I have a residency visa for the UK and I'm going to work and live over there for however long I damn well please. Sure, the weather is shit, and 2 really good mates are just coming BACK from overseas, but I'm sick of living my life for other people.

When you have a wife/husband...what are you thinking?
When you are copping off with someone else...are you thinking how this could end your marriage, therefore causing you financial woes due to divorce [most likely to happen to guys] and rob you of a happy life with someone who used to love you?
Or are you repeatedly telling yourself 'no one will find out'?
