# Anything referencing George Orwell WINS HARD!!!!!!!
Massive click from me matey.

Edit: your cartoon is a bit special too. Attention to detail is admirable (especially the rendering of your shape fitness evolved in the distance)

# "He shot me, that's fascist"
Edit: I should probably have included some indication that I actually know that Orwell hated the dilution of the word "fascist" and wrote about it.

# Well, he was in a war against fascists at the time.
The people shooting at him were literally fascists.

Y'twat.

# Ah, the good old days...
These days I've got a knackered fishing hat and a yo-yo on a chain. Even rats give me a wide berth.
Which is jolly kind of them.

he's of those naked types who wears a barrel with shoulderstraps, like in an old cartoon.

They divided his earnings, worth and pension into two exact halves.
She got one half, and her lawyer got the other.

# I ain't down wit' da kidz.
I'm so old.

I got the 1984 reference immediately, but had no idea what Your Shape: Fitness Evolved is until, in a fit of inspiration, I Googled "fitness video game" and eventually found a picture of something called, apparently, an "Xbox".

I shall click, as I am rather tickled by the idea of a dictatorial video game console.

# I saw the game being exhibited,
and it worried me the way that your 'trainer' appears to criticise and harangue you, whilst checking your compliance via the camera. Hence the idea ...
That book gets more and more prophetic with each passing year.
