I was taught how to watch football in a pub by the regulars. Apparently all you have to do is shout 'Go on my son!' at random intervals. I got told off for doing it at half time :/

I find it's a lot easier if you turn up after the match has finishedthere's a lot more room at the bar and your friends aren't distracted by the screen in the corner
