help needed threadjack

is there a way to rotate indiviual layers in image ready? im tryingto raise an arm
but i cant rotate the layer idividually and i cat just delete the layer and then rotate the original and repaste cos it deletes em in all frames .....
(, Tue 13 May 2003, 22:37, archived)
# duplicate the layer
rotate each one
and then make them visible/invisible in turn
voila!
(, Tue 13 May 2003, 22:39, archived)
# cheers matey
ill try may be back screamingin about 10 mins tho :)
the woo yay above was my first anim and now i think ive bitten off meore then i can chew
:D
(, Tue 13 May 2003, 22:40, archived)
# i love doing anim gifs
but they take soooo bloody long, that i usually can't be arsed. Or, I make shit ones.
(, Tue 13 May 2003, 22:41, archived)
# I get great ideas
then realise how hard they'll be...

luckily nowadays I decide not to make them BEFORE I spend 9 hours making all the necessary elements!
(, Tue 13 May 2003, 22:46, archived)
# i used to make animations
with my super8 camera. They were REALLY shit.
I can't be arsed anymore
at least with potatoshop it's just duplicate/move.
(, Tue 13 May 2003, 22:49, archived)
# just use transform
not Tranform Image, but plain Transform - it's under Edit, and if you don't have a selection it'll work on the current layer.

that layer will be changed in all the frames though, so you'll need to duplicate it and edit the duplicate if you want to make a progressive animated change.
