How's France then?
wow!
France was surprisingly fun. I admit I was apprehensive at first (My friend and I were the only two white people..) but I ended up having a really good time! And I did a little shopping and drinking, so woo!

Not sure you'll even read this now..
Yeah, I managed to get by on 'je voudrais encore du pain s'il vous plait' (that's about all I ate)
There were lots of insects too. HUGE spiders (to rival my kitchen encounter) and many daddy long legs.. I wasn't impressed..

I understand that much, but I'd probably clam up if I had to try and say it! But then the friend I would be staying with teaches english in france, so I guess I could get away with it!

I'm sure they are
and I've love to get to some, but you have to admit that Edinburgh isn't the most conveniently placed city!
But then it sounds like the festival is going to turn into a big Edonb3tan, and I'll be there. Oooh, I'm all excited about it already!

there's nothing wrong with Edinburgh's location
it's just everywhere else that's too far away... like me - I'm far too far away from Edinburgh now : (

Newcastle

Saw them at Brixton last year for the Clive Burr charity gig - I was 6 months pregnant : )

Of course it's evil!
It's medicine for me- only thing that stops my hands shaking is alcohol.
Note- no alcohol is evil apart from alcopops: drink for those who can't stand the taste of alcohol a.k.a wimps.
