that film is the only place I've ever heard anyone pronounce it 'jigawatts'. whats with THAT.

there is a website somewhere that explains this.
apparently it's common in america to say "jigawatts", but it is actually gigawatts, they just can't pronounce things properly, surprisingly
well, that's one post in about 2 years

yeah..
its crap, they say Jigawatts in the film, i have yet to meet a Britain or American who pronounces Gigawatts that way... the clue is in the film "what the hell is a Jigawatt?" its a made up unit, the fact martie picks up on that is part of the humour of BTTF!!!
