or move them. wrap them in a layer of felt lined with glued in tinfoil like Blue Peter does. Or just move the fucking magnets away from the screen so they don't suck all your electrons off.

you have big drivers.
They create a magnetic field. That fields will fuck off any CRT screen doe to the fact that mag fields pull electrons like Sol Campbell pull rent boys.
It's simple, move them. If not you need to devise a tin foil shield around the rear case of the CRT. Cardboard and a layer or two of foil can do the trick ( you use it like a mirror, shiny side to the speakers )

the monitor is behind the speaker atm...
its not hte monitor i'm concernde about, im more worried about the ram / floppy and hdd damage
i'll dig some tin foil out in a mo - see if my screen goes all funky again :D

don't worry about anything else. It does no harm ( not even to your screen )
It's just the magnet pulling the electrons from the gun tube to the tits up side. Moving the speaker is the easy answer but a shield ( which is what you have in a telly, most modern speakers and monitors ) will take care of it.
