So...Either you lit the candles before you went out, leaving them all evening and risking coming home to find the flat had burnt down, or you left her alone, blindfolded and shivering, on the step while you frantically rushed around and lit them all. Or perhaps your flatmate lit them, and was hiding in the cupboard during the beautiful moment?

I once made a suprise picnic in my room for my ex- had all the candles set up but texted my flatmate on the way home to light the candles and get the drinks out of the fridge...
