Common
Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."
My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.
What stuff do you think is common?

nope
you're what we call a "rah-rah". Got any Jack Wills/abercrombie and fitch? Dyed blonde backcombed hair? penchant for wearing flipflops with those pyjamas, regardless of the weather?

Ummm..
No, I have dreads in the back, sweepy fringe in the front!
And I have never even been in to A&F or Jack Wills, on principle. Maybe I am trying too hard NOT to be a rah. Ok I do wear flip flops with pajamas. It's a comfort thing!
