Hey, Colonel,It wasn't murder! It was manslaughter. And, to be fair, they do say that drowning is a very peaceful way to go.
Re the bog-brush, it was the handle-end. God knows how he thought he'd get away with it. Poor fellow never really lived it down. Amazing how one night can change everything...
