It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*

HelpYeah, i have the same issue with closing and locking doors, especially with my car.
I now have a system whereby if I lock my car, I then pull a handle, this then makes my tiny mind realise that the car is now locked. Perhaps you could use the same system with your house? lock the door then test it, once tested then this proves the door is locked?
