Why do women always put the new roll of bogroll on the holder so that the open side faces away from you?
What advantage could that possibly have? It's further away and bloody inconvenient.

I have great difficulty getting this right.
My mum hangs the roll one way, my wife the other.

I'm sure my wife thinks I was brought up wrong. Even now I'm not sure which is 'right' and I've been married 10 years.

having scientifically* proved with an excellent degree of repeatability that you get whole sheet seperation more consistently when the roll is hung in the 'overhand' manner..

Therefore I must conclude that this is technically superior and the logical way.
