Two things...1) High five your pal for me.
2) Were the girls in my year at school freaks? We weren't bothered by who was there on scholarships or assisted places. People who bully others simply because of their parent's income don't deserve to live :angry face:

As for the whole private school thing, most of the folk in my year were ok. I still keep in touch with several of them, some very rich, some not so much but there's always twats wherever you go. I suppose kids just look for an excuse to be arseholes and use that accordingly. Kids are mean!
