Oddly enough. no I didn't
In all other respects she is rather intelligent, such as in physics (the theory stuff anyway). It was only afterwards that I found out her spelling and grammar were, frankly, terrible.
What also worries me is that one of her friends (who is also doing Maths at the A-Level equivalent) asked me the other day "What's 10% of 750?".
