Man 1: "Sorry I'm late, I was stuck in traffic and don't carry a mobile phone because I think they're rude."
Man 2: "Not half as rude as leaving me standing around waiting for your Luddite arse to show up."
Man 2 exits pub. Curtain.

Now I *do* have a mobile and all that
but most people can cope perfectly well with someone arriving late.

I used to be anti mobile phones
but I've changed my mind, since having to get one. But I still won't use a 'care in the community' hands free kit. I still think walking down the road, arguing with yourself says 'section me, please'
