Amazing Projects
We here at B3ta love it when a plan comes together. Tell us about incredible projects and stuff you've built by your own hand. Go on, gloat away.
Thanks to A Vagabond for the suggestion

I was particularly proud of the hill climb part of the track...

Oh so cool.
What happens if the cars crash inside the tunnel, are they easy to remove?

That is superb.
Can you add realism by exporting fire to the Swiss through the tunnel?

Truly
a thing of beauty. It needs nothing, but if the need were felt for embellishment, may I suggest a 'Monaco' quay-side section? Perhaps with scale super-yachts?

This is really cool
Love the backdrop.A couple of wee spectators watching the racing action would be nice (And also fun for the cars to crash into when/if they come off the track).

Totally cool! Do you have any of that dynamic change lane jazz build in?

Nah, but I planned it using the computer program so the track lengths are identical with the crossovers where they are.

No pictures....
...as this was back in the 70s. Dad and I carried an old door we rescued from the dump back to our house, mounted it on hinges horizontally 4 feet up the wall, and built a track layout on it.
Hinge up. Race, hinge down to reclaim space. Nice one, dad.
(He also built an outdoor play structure in the shape of a cube, probably about 6' x 6' x6;. Each face had a different activity - monkey bar, swing &etc. Get bored with one thing? Roll the cube onto a different face and off you go again...)
