given that testicles are just another type of soft tissue, any impact to them would cause bruising at the least, surely? too long on the bikes? sitting "heavily" on the bikes (you know, those times when you sit too fast and think YIKES or other words ...), or maybe he made a rather too overt leer at someone and received a foot to the groin for his efforts :P

still at least he didn't get torsion, that's probably even less desirable (personal experience and all).

Hit a jump on a BMX, landed funny and wahcked them on the crossbar.

I'm not ashamed to say I cried like a 5year old girl.

two black balls
My wife once kicked me in the nuts.

She thought I'd move, I thought she wouldn't do it.
The flat of her foot caught both balls perfectly and crushed them against my pelvis. I just dropped there and then, landed in a big puddle and whimpered for a long time getting soaked while she tried not to laugh.

For 2 weeks my balls went from a dark blue/purple colour back their normal colour.

I have NEVER known pain like it, I couldn't wear denims for weeks, anything even touching my balls was agony.
